@dansup is there a feature planned, to filter threads users from the list?

The fediverse integration of threads is still pretty limited and most of the users, that contribute to the shown follower numbers are in fact not part of the fediverse.

Also the fact, that a lot of instances have blocked threads makes the first couple of pages of the popular fediverse accounts non-representative of the experience of a lot of people.

@dansup, what's the future of in ?

There have been some bugs and missing features, and today @trwnh closed two bug reports concerning reblogs as "not planned". Will @pixelfed continue to support reblogs? Because without, it's kind of useless to me.

@dansup is there any chance to see reblogs in the app anytime soon?

@EU_Commission Women's rights are not negotiable, except when they are. For example, when the negotiated that "only yes means yes" becomes "no means no".

@dansup as far as I know, you do almost all of the development on pixelfed yourself. Would this be an opportunity to move to a maintainer team?

@dansup @pixelfed in the end, it doesn't have to work in 100% of the cases. The blocked user can always create a new account to circumvent the block, but implementing blocks only one way keeps reminding the blocked user of the fact with every post.

@dansup the issue does not only arise with local/remote users, but with any sufficiently long username. Highlighting external accounts will therefore no solve the issue, if you can't ensure that at least 15(?) characters are always visible.

You are definitely not overthinking. It's great to know, that issues like this are not just ignored. However, in this particular case I would think it's ok to accept the risk for now.
