One of my new windmills to tilt against is the documentation page for Ruby at ruby-lang.org/en/documentation -- I think this could be improved. (Mostly I think the problem is that things that would be valuable for most users -- like the API reference -- are mingled in with stuff of dubious general value).

Agree? Disagree? Any suggestions if I try to make a PR against the current page?

@noelrap step 1: list vs code as a suggested editor, and mention the others in passing.

@noelrap step 2: mention exercism above koans and poignant guide (newbies don’t care for our nostalgia)

Another thing about the Ruby documentation is that there is no official, clear, complete guide to the actual language syntax, or if there is, I never found it in two years of looking (I'd be thrilled to be wrong -- embarrassed, but thrilled).

The official API docs have kind of a patchwork description of some, maybe even most of the syntax, but it seems to me like it's missing a bunch of stuff.

@noelrap agree and would be grateful for the effort. I’m already grateful for the intention.
