I tooted about this the other day. That I feel that the technology and branding has sort of blinded us. Do an image search on "Social" on Google or better a stock photo site, and you get images of people on smartphones, and Social Media logo's.

To the extent that in our thinking almost: Social --> Technology 💡

That "Social" is about deeply human aspects that go far beyond that suprerficial technology level (and 'broadcasting' on Social Media), has become less obvious.
