This week, we welcomed Ukraine as it becomes the newest member of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism!
This is a great step in further strengthening the European civil protection and disaster management system.
The EU Civil Protection Mechanism has been the central engine in channelling #emergency in-kind assistance to #Ukraine from across #Europe since the start of the war.
Now, Ukraine will be able to dispatch aid via the Mechanism at a time another country finds itself in a crisis.
