Then, after a minute or so, one spots that what one thought was Russia is actually China; and that Mongolia is barely there.

@TerribleMaps Reminds me of the cover of my undergraduate textbook on demography, John R. Weeks, “Population: An Introduction to Concepts and Issues.” Had a similar map on cover until at least the 2011 edition apparently.
