@EU_Commission
Yep. Thank you.

E.g. “Apple's measures may not be fully compliant as they impose various restrictions and limitations” would mean that after 30 days I loose my privilege as EU citizen.
This means I would need to stop travel.
It is a tough restriction.
I love travel. And sometimes EU.

Dear Eu (Pronounced Yew!),

Shred and make them pay their dews. Seems like a plan worthy of Hannibal Smith and the A-Team ...🦞

Having attended most of last week's #DMA compliance workshops in person, I was already convinced that the EU Commission would have no choice but to investigate if it doesn't want to lose all credibility for the #DigitalMarketsAct; the gatekeeper's circumvention attempts are just too blatant to ignore.

I wasn't sure they would act so swiftly though, so thank you @EU_Commission ! 👏

@EU_Commission I can’t believe I’m saying this but good job – especially “pay or consent” has to be nipped in the bud before it takes hold; it’s basically data extortion.

(And thank you for sharing the news without some silly meme attempt.)

@EU_Commission "pay or consent" model is something that shouldn't even be discussed. It's just a different form o exploitation on users.

Shall we pay now to not be exploited? I thought the goal was not being exploited at all.

Also the amount of money made with our data by all the aggressive means used wasn't, isn't and won't ever be in balance with what we [people] receive which is an addiction to a platform that is constantly creating dependency, manipulating people, polarising ideas, exploiting vulnerabilities and vulnerable social groups.

Negotiating such things with Big Techs also gives the feeling that those are in a higher rank of power than not only each country itself but also a continent.

This abuse of power from big techs shall stop!
