I love seeing new apps like @vernissage and working with them on compatibility and feature support

I don’t see them as competition to my , quite the opposite, they represent a healthy open ecosystem.

It’s my job as the @pixelfed maintainer to support them to the best of my ability and encourage alternatives that benefit our community.

This is what makes the so special ❤️

@vernissage @pixelfed @dansup I’m not sure if I understand how it works. Apparently I have a Pixelfed presence it says I have 12 posts yet the account has not posted yet. I have 9 posts with media on mastodon yet I cannot login because my mastodon instance is not compatible
