Utterly defeated by trying to replace the thermostat in the fridge. Never trust manufacturers to make anything easy to replace. And be sceptical about the “it’s easy” videos from generic spare parts sellers.

If a pro refuses the job, it is for a reason ⚠️

Now trying to calculate how much energy we are wasting and cost of buying new 😞

@Janetgunter I almost always tear some skin off when trying to replace the filter in mine. The filter! Something that you are supposed to replace all the time! Sometimes you really have to wonder what engineers were smoking when they design some of these things.

I also realise I should never try and repair anything without help because I can run out of spoons very suddenly. Repair can be surprisingly phyiscally and mentally taxing when you least expect it.
