@feditips Using the web interface I can follow hashtags. How do I get a list of the hastags that I follow?

@feditips I think I once read somewhere that it was recommended that replies should be "unlisted". If this is the case:
1) Where is this documented?
2) Why isn't the default to make replies unlisted?

I really can't really what make it "high contrast".

@feditips Is there a fixed limit in the server for how many posts will appear on the "Home" timeline? Mine seems to stop scroling at about 19 hours, other people report different limits but I'm wondering if the limit is in number of posts and iof it's expected to stop like that (no infinite scroll)?

@feditips Tried the site but no answer there that I could see. On iPad, the Search Panel takes up about 25% of the screen. Is there any way to hide it and call it back only when needed? It’s the main thing that irritates me about Mastodon in comparison to the Bird monster.

@feditips Just getting accustomed to the various Timelines, when I just noticed a new one named, "Community" has popped up on the iPhone app, but which doesn't exist when checking out Mastodon with a Browser. Or if it does, I am not getting it to work with Mastodon.

@feditips Logging out! Excuse a stupid question.
I use the web browser interface. I can't find a button to log out. I have to dig into the Preferences menu to click logout at the bottom. I think I'm missing something obvious. Masto guides never mention logging out. I want a positive disconnection when I stop interacting.

I'm wondering is there a "ghetto" mute option that would (pre-)mute posts from accounts, at least a month old, yet, contain ONLY their own content, i.e. no boosts etc.

It would also deal with the type I'm encountering who often boost my content but then remove the boost within a very short time (minutes) and probably do so to others given the total absence of boosts on their account.

I call it "ghetto" mute because of the very apparent absence of diversity on their accounts.

Question re: audio player

I successfully uploaded an audio file:

However, the image shown in the player is an image of me, not the musician.

I looked at the current Fedi.Tips and did not see how to make that image be something other than my own.

Alt-text just provides text.

Is there some sort of "alt-image" that will allow me to upload an image to be displayed in the player for a particular audio file?
