@trendless @movonw yes, that's how we do it: posts only go to users who have an account on your server. same mechanism but never federated

@darius @trendless so that instance is an isolated island?
I was thinking more about - the instance posts can only be seen by me if 1. I follow that instance user 2. I follow someone who boosts their post.
But I don't want the posts to be broadcasted like in example of relay, where a new account will see a lot of fediverse-scope posts just to fill their timeline, and these posts are (randomly?) shown from the wider network. Can an instance opt-out from that ?
