Quick headsup, the latest version of the official iPhone/iPad Mastodon app (v1.5) now has support for post editing.

It may have already updated automatically, but if it hasn't you can make it update manually:

1. Go to the App Store
2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner 👤
3. Scroll down to see apps waiting for an update, if Mastodon is there click the "Update" button next to it

After you've updated, to edit one of your posts just go to the post, click ⋯ and then Edit.

@feditips I sidelined the standard iOS app cuz it was so difficult to get it to update my timelines. Over and over I tried to refresh, but nothing. Having the editing thing in it is nice, but I’d like to see its speed improved.

@feditips is it possible to schedule posts yet?

@feditips I tested with one of my posts, as soon as I changed the text and saved, I was back in my "timeline" (I apologize if these are not the correct terms), and my post was marked "Edited", but with the old writing. I had to refresh, then I saw the post really edited.

Just saying it may not auto update, but it works!
