@Gargron @parkermolloy's post on host.news proves how seductive simple text attributes are to many users. Whether for them, bold and italic fonts are worth enduring 15 more years of centralized silos, corporate hegemonists, and Elon Musk-style tyranny, when we now have a clear alternative, remains to be seen.

But if you have plans to support attributes on Masto, this would be a good time to announce it :)
