We need a "foundation stone" upon which our fedi rests.

One point I want to bring across, and here I am directing towards and should maybe include @EC_OSPO ..

Technical innovation projects in themselves aren't enough. They do not foster a healthy substrate. For this substrate we entirely rely on volunteers doing work out of the kindness of their hearts. But there's a lot of work.

Funding in this area should also be part of policies!

We see this at SocialHub. We are asked to organize events to introduce for instance administrations what #Fediverse is and can mean for them. Explain the potential. And maybe give training to @EU_Commission how to use this social network in the best way.

But it comes down to volunteers having to step up to that plate. It happens, but it is hard to organize and keep communities like that rolling.
