Corruption undermines #democracy, the rule of law, and sustainable development.

We took decisive action to tackle it by proposing new rules to:

▶ criminalise corruption offences across the Union

▶ build a culture of integrity

▶ ensure effective investigations and prosecution of #corruption

With this proposal, we will tighten the net around the corrupt, in the EU and worldwide.
