Found a fun bug in the latest macOS Sonoma public beta 3. Filed as FB12920085

$bug stating Because I use my Mac for development and store my dotfiles in iCloud Drive, I have a script that runs in my `~/.profile` (I run bash shell) that performs this command: find . -type f -name "*.icloud" -exec brctl download {} \; This effectively finds every unsynced icloud file in my drive and downloads it. This worked fine in public beta 1 and 2 but in public beta 3 it causes iCloud drive (specifically fileproviderd and related) to peg all SSD resources). The net effect is that my terminal never functions unless I kill the profile script and the entire SSD is non-responsive while iCloud churns on all these downloads, halting almost all other apps.$
