@65dBnoise That I know. It had to yeet far enough to preclude contamination, so I just wonder if it impacted at maximum propulsion or in free fall. In either case, what a ride!

Max propulsion against gravity of with it? 😀 The way it disintegrated in a myriad pieces could suggest the latter, e.g. a ballistic trajectory w/wo power at the end. That would be interesting to watch in Mars' 1/3g gravity and thinner atmosphere. A spectacular last jump to absolute freedom, judging by the result 😬 . What a ride, indeed!
