To make them enforceable for multi-ticket trips? Ticket data interoperability, e.g., why can't DB Bahn show me the prices of Thalys trips and vice versa? Force the ability to book multiple tickets in one go, preferably as a single one, like UIC used to do for paper tickets? Timetable data sharing among operators?
