@andrew @darius @leigh it's not obvious to me that these are mutually exclusive models.

My belief is that Reactji offer a way for observers to participate and add support/feedback to speakers/points without inserting themselves into a conversation. For some they're a distraction, and for others they offer a valuable feedback mechanism. For me it replaces the sort of nonverbal feedback you get in person or on video, especially with a larger group.

@mconnor @andrew @leigh I'm just thinking that the valuable information would get lost in a community if half the people had it and the others didn't. So I think an entire community should either opt in or out of the feature
