Not everything we see online is true.

Before hitting the share button, practice a thorough check. These crucial questions will guide you:

✔️ WHO is behind it?
✔️ WHAT is the source?
✔️ WHERE did it come from?
✔️ WHY are you sharing it?
✔️ WHEN was it published?

Together, we will triumph over , one click at a time.

Like my grandpa used to say: "The truth is like an ass. Every person has its own".
So, about who's truth you're writing and fighting? Yours only? Mine? Or perhaps my neighbor one? 🤣😂

@EU_Commission Reliable information can only come from EU's ministry of truth approved sources 😉 😉

@EU_Commission I see information came from Trump. But eventually I realize it came from senator Lindsay, who cosplays senator McCain. And Trump doesn't even like McCain

@EU_Commission Would be nice if the Commission followed its own advice and didn't share misinformation on social media & their own website chaos.social/@maxim/1098681312

Q1: Your mastodon account.
Q2: IDK
Q3: Fediverse
Q4: Did I share it? Didn't think so.
Q5: 2023?

On this one, at least one European has now tried to answer the questions, but I suspect this will not happen with every boost 🤕 ...

@EU_Commission
WHY is important as a first consideration. If you're sharing it because your reaction is "OMG! That's scary!" before you think to check the source, you've just been socially engineered.

Who cares. Money is all that really matters to lame ass humans.

@EU_Commission These factors are relevant in determining authenticity, but other factors are also relevant, such as independent verification.

We need stronger methods of verification than which side the source is on, otherwise no one can defend themselves against false accusations when it doesn't fit the expected narrative.

@EU_Commission
WHY are you sharing it?
You want to direct information and determine what is discussed.

@EU_Commission OOK OK c'est bien beau tout ça .... mais comment on fait pour savoir :
✔️ WHO is behind it?
✔️ WHAT is the source?
✔️ WHERE did it come from?
✔️ WHY are you sharing it?
✔️ WHEN was it published?
C'est bien de distiller vos conseils mais dites nous comment les mettre en pratique au moins . Merci
