Hello! I'm an associate professor of psychology at Case Western Reserve University. I study skill acquisition, expertise, and achievement--related areas with different approaches.

I'm a cognitive psychologist, but my work intersects with social psychology and I/O psychology.

Current projects include (1) examining how task characteristics influence skill learning, (2) examining whether AI assistants cause skill atrophy, and (3) testing effects of growth mindset interventions.

Feel free to write another introduction later on. I am here two years and plan to write one next week. There are so many new folks signing up.

In all posts, but especially in introduction posts it is helpful to use often used hashtags. It is harder to find people here and hashtags are thus more important and used more liberally than on Twitter.
