@dansup @berkes this is a great decision in my opinion. Web should be opt-in, rather than opt-out, no matter what, as long as it’s clear and easy to do so.

The core of the fediverse is a more ethical approach to digital life and there’s no real reason to revoke it even if 99% opt-in. That only shows how easy it is for users to make their own choices.
