And that's probably why Drew didn't like the emoji patch for . Sourcehut is trying to appeal to people who want to get things done effectively, using existing tools that have proven to work. There is no value on trying to make into yet another clone, since those people are catered for by Github already.

Yes, agree too. He is doing product development tailored to a particular audience of software developers, and doing that very well and consistently.
