@daphne There have always been huge differences in how consistently people apply CW for such cases, which are only slightly problematic for some. Apparently in your part of the fediverse that was not a problem and you followed the right folks.

In a global distributed system there will not be universal rules on how to apply CW, especially where they only make marginal sense. But people can build their own community.
