📣 Young Europeans are not only ready to vote but are engaged and active in policy and decision-making

🗳️ 64% of young Europeans intend to vote in the next European elections on 6-9 June;
🤝 64% have participated in youth organisations' activities in the past 12 months;
📣 48% had taken action to change society including signing a petition or participating in a rally.

@EU_Commission 64% means 34% will most likely be alienated.

We need a voting system that fosters everybody's opinion, even of those that do not find anyone worth their vote. Not voting should be counted as a negative vote for everybody.

1st-pass-the-post is failing us, we need something better and most of all stop considering low percentage a win.

@EU_Commission could not find how many of the 26,189 targeted individuals actually responded. I’m curious as I suspect a bias that causes only people that are already engaged to respond.
