@65dBnoise I wonder if changing the Martian atmosphere composition would allow for it to retain a thicker atmosphere‽ Saturn’s moon Titan has a thicker atmosphere than Earth’s but has less than half of the gravity of Mars.

AFAIK Mars' atmosphere is lost to space due to the solar wind and the absence of a protective magnetic field. However, Titan spends 95% of its time within Saturn's magnetosphere, which may help shield it from the solar wind.
