it won't work for me because I have boosts turned off globally for all accounts I follow but don't let that dissuade you

Guppe also originated from Darius's express activitypub demo, and has since evolved into a complete modular @activitypub implementation as https://github.com/immers-space/activitypub-express

Using that, the Guppe server itself is now just 250 lines (and half of that is web front end api): https://github.com/immers-space/guppe/blob/main/index.js
