Chronic illness treatment

I did my first session yesterday. It felt like joining a crip Steve Zissou crew. The facility is run by a charity, it had a real community feeling. They took care of me and made me feel safe and one of them.

No miracle cure, but I slept 8 hours directly last night. This alone is a big boost.

@Janetgunter that's great! I was told to expect to feel extra tired after the first session. I'm really interested to hear if you have any information or contacts to help with ascertaining what improvements I'm making. I did 6 sessions then took a break and (thanks to numerous conditions and issues) I cannot tell. I went with a charity too and loved the feeling of support.

Back for my fourth session. I do think it’s helping. But as with everything, progress is slow slow slow. I like how every session there is a new cast of characters. Some familiar. People are here for all sorts of reasons. Most illness or disability. I wonder how many have #LongCovid. The vibe is super friendly, community.

Going to ask about putting up a physical message board for ride sharing (transport here doubles the price for me), Covid-safe social opportunities.
