Have a look yourself in the originals in the (edited) link.That's a stereo shot captured with a 110mm focal length stereo camera with L/R separation 243mm.

Apparently what you see is the result of the combination of almost 4x the human eye separation (~62mm) with telephoto lenses and color processing of the images, and is probably visible in most of the 110mm stereo compositions 🙂
