@tenderlove I’m confused. Why not back up to a dotfiles repo and just clone it?

@tenderlove putting them in dvcs is cool, I don't think it's a bad thing to just symlink to a directory on a fileshare thing (box, Dropbox, whatever) but maybe I'm a heathen

@tenderlove I redid my whole dotfile setup to use Chezmoi specifically because I knew I was getting a new computer recently 😅

@tenderlove have you used stow? I've used it when switching workstations and it's not perfect, but gives errors when overwriting files (in the new laptop) so it _attempts_ to install your config. It's a fancy `cp`
