@feditips i often get a 502 or 503 or 4something when i try to add a photo or film to a toot (android phone, wifi, server social). Then it won't load. Why? And what can I do?

Looks like your instance is overloaded then... 5xx HTTP error codes describe server side issues... mastodon.social is a very large instance (over 1.6 million registered users). Other instances may offer a better performance.

@Frieke72 @feditips I’ve noticed this too! I sent an email to support@mastodon.social with two images to reproduce the problem. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.
