In the meanwhile, another subscription option is RSS. If you click a subscribe button on the site itself it has an RSS link.

@FediFollows Yeah, I didn't want to have another application, but then I realized that Element has integrations for RSS bots. So I'm off to go play with that! \o/ :-D I LOVE open source. :-)
