@IgnisIncendio I feel they might have had a blurb talking about how they are part of the .

Not the technical mumbo jumbo, I agree, but part of something bigger where there is more to discover.

It's now like one of the first popular websites on the early Web not mentioning you can navigate to other great websites with interesting content maintained by other people.

@humanetech I agree! Though I’m just happy that the *very first* thing users see on the site is “get the app”, which is very important for adoption :)

If you scroll down the site they definitely go into more details on #decentralisation, #openSource etc. Which is a great balance.

@humanetech Ah, I get what you mean now. True! It does talk about ActivityPub but that’s only in a blog post, right?

Though it does feel like #ActivityPub is rather overly-wide; personally I would have separate accounts for #Lemmy, #Peertube etc. But that’s just my opinion. I’m still new to the #Fediverse.

I guess they could talk about #Pleroma :P but that does risk confusing users even more; #Mastodon by itself is already quite novel to people coming from silos! I think it’s alright for now.
