To celebrate the Olympic Games, France has issued a special 2-euro coin. Over 510,000 coins are now in circulation throughout Europe.

Each country in the eurozone can issue two commemorative coins per year. These coins have the same appearance as the regular 2-euro coins.

For 25 years, euro has been part of our daily lives, making it easier for more than 340 mil people in #Europe to travel, study, live and work abroad.
