@darius curious, why the switch?

@exchgr my work purchased a ThinkPad for me and at the time, MBPs were in a kind of not-actually-that-great period from about 2016 to 2020. The x1 carbon has been a great laptop for me overall, I don't regret it, though if the M1s had existed I might have pushed for one instead
