I want to show how, despite the criticism, I am eager and willing to work with him to resolve the issues he identified.

My tone in the post should have made that clear, I said I reached out to someone who may be able to help, and provided the context for that.

@dansup I can see the intention was supposed to be good but a screesnhot, that's like putting Ro in a difficult position, like it's pressuring them to when surely you saw his response back to you.

If I gave criticism to a dev of a large project about something, like transphobia in the project and that dev screenshots their interaction of me a trans person and posts it to their 10k+ following as in wanting to work together with me.

It's going to bring out more transphobia onto me, and it may not of been the dev's intent, but I'm going to not feel fine at all from that. Actions, and the effect are louder than intent. And it matters more than anything with a large following in the mix.
