Spent the past few hours fixing a critical bug in Pixelfed, a race condition in the admin invite logic caused duplicate profile creation.

Fixing the root cause was easy, the challenging part was de-duplicating/merging associated data.

This is why https://pixelfed.social was down for an hour, I had to backup before deploying the fix just to be safe.
