@dansup i havent used it yet but check Flickr for the best image navigation in an app using touch input that i have ever seen including zoom and double tap to like regardless of zoom level or whether it is an image or video (which instagram cant figure out correctly)

@dansup If I may push another thing onto your work pile: the iOS app (in beta) currently doesn’t seem to post images (the flow goes through but nothing is posted), or comment (it goes to a blank screen when I tap the button). I’ve tested with the web interface and posting works fine.

Of these things, Dark Mode should be the top priority. I'm on pixelfed (have to finish setting up my profile still), but not having push notifications or double tap to like is not a bad thing. Push notifications are as much a "problem" as algorithms are with social media, and double tap to like... Meh. Can take it or leave it. Not looking for an Instagram clone. Looking for something different.
