If you're interested in upcoming features on , there's an official public roadmap at:

➡️ joinmastodon.org/roadmap

The abbreviations before each feature tell you which part of Mastodon it concerns. "MAS" means the web interface and core functions, "AND" means the official Android app, "IOS" means the official iPhone/iPad app.

Third party apps and interfaces will have their own roadmaps which may be completely different, as they are made independently by third party teams.

@feditips Have you heard anything about adding a followed tags interface? I thought that was in the works but I don't see it there at all.

@feditips soooo Loki g forward to how they implement groups. That could be how I recruit my Facebook friends away from there.

@feditips

Is this roadmap up to date?

There are a couple of items (e.g. „Follow hashtags“, „Choose focal point on images„ already resolved.

Also, some items appear multiple times.

And most items don’t explain what exactly is intended (also no hyperlink or reference number). This last point might explain my two points above.

(minor remark on usability: with line breaks missing, it’s difficult to read the long lines in some smartphone browsers)

@feditips is there any plan to include ability to choose between home, local and federated timelines in the android app?

@feditips What's the best way to follow the *release* of these items? E.g. how to know when the web client has been updated to exclude list members from the home feed.

Mastodon Migration

@feditips Can not tell from this list if there a plan to present threads in reverse chronological order in the profile timeline similar to how Twitter and now Elk do it?
