I do think 2010 was the last year I kept anything close to an active blog. Twitter absolutely ate that energy up for me instead.

@darius I absolutely remember that transition.
I mean not from you specifically, but by 2008, a sizable chunk of my RSS feed consisted of auto-generated Twitter activity summaries. Not all, but enough that I had to cull my subscriptions (and follow them on Twitter).
@darius Ach, yeah, Twitter absolutely killed my blogging habit. Glad to have gotten it back in recent years, but it’s definitely different than it used to be.
i only recently got my blog/notes back online, and am genuinely excited to go back to that ecosystem. everything old is old again.
maybe it's time to take another look at blogs?
