@Hello57 People who write low quality posts will have few followers. While Twitter would show an "engaging" post to many non-followers, Mastodon does not provide this additional boost.
There is more moderation on Mastodon. The admins are interested in creating a positive community, while Twitter does as little moderation as possible because labor costs money. An admin would notice someone posting clickbait & rumors.
There are servers with conspiracy theorists. The rest of Mastodon blocks them.
