Closing registrations was not an easy decision to make, but one that was necessary to reduce centralization.

I built the new https://pixelfed.org/servers instance picker (and redesigned the entire site) to onboard new users in a more sustainable way, across several curated instances.

I'll re-open registration when the time is right 😉
