@dansup @glitchead @pixelfed Hello Daniel, thank you for responding.
I just found out that @jerry was experiencing an issue with this and was in the process of attempting to sign up and migrate to his pixelfed instance.
If however this is something that happens only once for an account at some point then that is a situation i feel i can work with.
I think the documentation somewhere for new users as well as implimenting a notification feature when the verification / manual review is complete would solve the issues i see with this as it stands now.
It could be very confusing such as it was for me today and others who've responded not knowing when the limit is lifted, that absolutely would be an issue for any photographer seriously considering use of a platform. I've used just about all of them at some point and while all had their issues this is a first i've encountered.
I don't think it would be an issue though if new users understood this when signing up. That and a notification when reviewed i think would make it easier. I was really enjoying it and was bummed when people explained it may take days and i won't know when it's approved.
I've been uploading one image per day but many photographers i've known may upload a few from a shoot in a set. It would be frustrating to anyone doing so especially.
Thank you for getting in touch. I'm going to resume using your instance and i apologize if i seemed a bit peeved. I think it otherwise works great and people have been cool there, i also see some great stuff shared by others. I'd like to continue that.
