@bhaugen yeah it's proving to be a very useful foundational book for me. I'm thinking about ActivityPub myself and I hope that I can use his claims to make claims about AP that make sense

I haven't read very far into the book, just to make clear to myself that we are thinking of a different angle on protocols. I'll be interested in anything he said that might apply to ActivityPub, which I think of as a higher-level protocol that rides on top of the protocols he has mentioned so far.
