If an account posts too much, try following one of its "sub-accounts" instead, as mentioned in each post. Alternatively use Mastodon's Lists feature.

Seems a little hyped, no? How many of these publications have even heard of Flipboard, let alone Mastodon?

Flipboard’s just a middleman platform—it doesn’t bring a publication’s team, and doubtful even their attention, and certainly not their engagement, to Mastodon. It just brings snippets of content to lure you to #Flipboard (if you’re not careful what you click on).

I think I’ll just hold out for the publications and their staff to join #Mastodon in an official capacity.

@FediFollows What is the general opinion about Flipboard?

Since it is proprietary aggregator, I have blocked it from accessing my instance. But it feels like general attitude towards Flipboard is more of a positive, isn't it? :blobcatthink:

I hope media from other countries will also join. I'm definitely not interested in having my feed flooded by US subjects, celebrities and politics 😅.

By the way, I've joined Flipboard and it's a pretty nice platform. I hope it'll get bigger!
