About 90 million people in the EU have a disability.

Many of them face hurdles when travelling.

It is high time we change this.
That’s why we are working to introduce the EU Disability Card.

It will provide an easy, physical way to recognise disability status across the EU and enable people with disabilities to enjoy their rights equally and everywhere in our Union.

@EU_Commission Wouldn't the better idea just be to make travel easy for everyone? Travel can be hard for people who don't have disabilities as well

@EU_Commission I hope this is recognised better than the European blue parking card for people with disabilities; in the Netherlands local governments do everything in their power to disqualify that parking card.
