@newstatesman I honestly don't understand why Substack is better than a blog. All the article tells me is that Substack sends out newsletters by email. So? A blogger can't do that?

Besides, if the, uh, stars of Substack are people like Bari Weiss, Matt Taibbi, Glenn Greenwald, Matthew Yglesias and Andrew Sullivan... Let's just say that's not the sort of company I would enjoy keeping.
