Are you feeling lonely during the festive season? Have you tried the hashtag #JoinIn?

It works like this:

- During Xmas period, or any time, write about what you're doing and include the tag #JoinIn. It doesn't have to be anything elaborate or impressive!

- Search for (or follow) the tag #JoinIn, reply to other people's posts with that tag.

I know it sounds kind of simple, but it's worth trying!

I'm going to be on my own this year due to ongoing pandemic, but will see you at #JoinIn ☕

@feditips At our house, we're celebrating Solstice this year rather than Christmas, since we're able to have our granddaughter now and not then. We even will have a visit from Solstice Santa tonight!

@feditips i dont like xmas because commercialism and atheism but i do like the lights and family time.my wifey is going to visit her family in another state for 2nd maybe 3rd time in a row....I have fish tanks and a dog so we rarely get to go together. I'm going to see my grandboys on Xmas if the weather is OK. I'll Def be Checking in...

Each Christmas I say I’ll do this simpler and each year, we all expect what we experienced growing up…that Christmas magic. So…I’ll put a Christmas movie on tonight with my feet up.
