@darius @andrew @leigh I think that presumes the information would exist in either case. Instead, I'd argue that Reactji interactions are mostly additive and positive in nature, and those interactions happen because they are easy, low-commitment, and don't add noise.

Users can ignore the information if it exists, but others can't get that value if it doesn't. That, to me, argues against admins disabling the feature, and letting users choose.

@mconnor my argument is that it is noise for some people (like me, it is synaesthetically disruptive to my reading experience) and maybe some communities would like to not have it
