It’s time to travel with your furry friend. 🐾
What better way to celebrate #InternationalCatDay than getting the EU Pet Passport for your cat?
That’s right, you can travel easily and safely with your cat, dog or ferret in the EU thanks to our 🇪🇺 passports for pets.
You can get the passport from your local vet if your pet has:
💾 been micro-chipped,
🦇 been vaccinated against rabies,
⚕️ had treatment against tapeworm (for certain countries).

I hadn't realised it was #InternationalCatDay
Thanks for letting us know.
@EU_Commission brexit question: as a EU Citizen, do my pets get a EU Pet passport if they are born, and live in the UK?
@EU_Commission you saying all I need to do to help #furry friends escape the Failed States of America is "adopt" them as "pets?"
Microchipping people sounds like some nonsense though ngl
@EU_Commission Can we furries get our own too? It's not for world domination purposes I promise UwU
Is it correct that as pet travel is concerned, Northern Ireland is viewed as an EU country?
E.g. as a non-Ireland citizen (but resident) I can take my dog with his currently valid rabies vaccination and EU pet passport to Northern Ireland?
@EU_Commission Hello I am the furry friend you can travel with.
@EU_Commission oh boy…🙄
@EU_Commission Illegal migrants and cats with passports. EU, fuck yeah
@EU_Commission this post definitely isn’t about what I thought it was after reading the first sentence.
@EU_Commission probably a dumb question but does it matter from what country the passports are? I got my dog in Portugal and her European passport is from there, while my cat has one from the Netherlands.
@EU_Commission Is That Satire?
