Two-thirds of the oceans are beyond the jurisdiction of any country.

The species and resources therein risk being overexploited and damaged by climate change and pollution.

We, therefore, welcome the breakthrough agreement on the 🇺🇳 UN High Seas Treaty reached last Saturday. A success we helped achieve.

The treaty will protect the ocean, tackle environmental degradation, fight climate change, and prevent biodiversity loss.

This is a historic moment for our Oceans 💙

@EU_Commission this doesn't save the EU of all the damaged done to the planet not banning plastics, fossil fuels, etc... . And always obeying the orders of your American Masters.

The members of the EU must be elected by the people, not the parties that contribute to kill millions for profit. You should be ashamed if you had an iota of morals and ethics. 🤢🤮🤢
